I’m Chrissy. I’m an artist and live in Bristol. My son took this photo of me in Paradise Bottom, a beautiful woodland just outside the city. I’m at my most happiest when stomping through the woods searching for interesting mosses and fungi with my family.

I studied Fine Art at Falmouth College of Arts and have a MFA from Chelsea College of Art and Design. A fascination of nature has informed my art practice ever since I was a young student. I use painting and drawing to amplify the beauty and preciousness of the natural world.

Since having children I have become preoccupied to doing whatever I can to make the world a better place. My art practice has become motivated on raising awareness of climate justice and environmental issues.
